Unit has a 16" max cut depth
The cut break saw has 2 - 9" blades that are 3/4" apart. Cut depth per pass is 2.5". After each pass the slice is snapped out and then another pass is made.

NOTE: Let the blade do the work for you (don't force the saw) in order to reduce wear on the blades
